Ⅰ.Character and appliance of mica powder

There are different kinds of mica, such as muscovite, biotite, phlogopite, and lepidolite. The muscovite is the commonest one.

Mica is marked of its unique combination of physical, chemical and thermal properties, low power loss factor, dielectric constant, acid and alkali resistance, low coefficient of thermal expansion and etc. The mica minerals have one perfect cleavage that allows them to be broken into very thin sheets. This is very distinctive. It is good at dielectric strength and flexibility. The mica powder is featured with good smoothness, good covering effect and strong adhesion.
